Apostolos Kathiniotis was a Greek athlete who competed in the long jump and the triple jump.

Kathiniotis was born in Volos on March 16, 1952. He was an athlete of GC Volos and competed in the Olympiad of 1976.

Kathiniotis broke the Greek record for the long jump on August 25, 1973 with 7.78m. He broke the triple jump record 4 times, the last time being on July 1, 1976 with 16.61m.

Among his accomplishments were 2 gold and 3 bronze medals in the Balkan Games between 1972 and 1976 as well as a silver in the Mediterranean Games of 1971.
