The Liberal Democratic Center (Greek Φιλελεύθερον Δημοκρατικόν Κέντρον - ΦΙ.ΔΗ.Κ. - FIDIK) was a curious centre-right political party founded in 1965 by some 45 members of the Hellenic Parliament that defected from the majority Center Union party of Georgios Papandreou.
King Constantine II put up, in succession, three of its members for the post of PM of Greece: poet Georgios Athanasiadis-Novas, former leftist politician Elias Tsirimokos and finally Stephanos Stephanopoulos who, unlike the previous two, actually did obtain a vote of confidence in Parliament. That government was brought down in 1966 when the conservative National Radical Union, on whom which FIDIK depended for support, decided to withdraw that support.
FIDIK ceased to exist after the coup d'etat of April 21, 1967.
