The '''Liberal Democratic Union''' ([[Greek language|Greek]] Φιλελευθέρα Δημοκρατική Ένωσις), was a political party, founded on [[April 12]], [[1954]], by [[Sophocles Venizelos]] after a disagreement with his political ally [[Georgios Papandreou]].

The Liberal Democratic Union took part in the [[1956]] general elections in [[Greece]] as part of the [[Democratic Union]] coalition which lost to the [[National Radical Union]] of [[Constantine Karamanlis]].

On [[February 28]], [[1957]], Venizelos and Papandreou reconciled and the Liberal Democratic Union was absorbed in the [[Liberal Party]] of Papandreou.
