Branko Stankovic was a Yugoslav football player and coach.
Stankovic was born on October 21, 1921 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia (now Bosnia). He played for Slavija Sarajevo and, from 1945 - 1958 for Red Star Belgrade. During his career, he was capped 62 times by Yugoslavia and competed in the 1950 and 1954 World Cups.
Stankovic coached:
- AEK Athens between 1969 and 1973,
- Aris Thessaloniki (1973 - 1974),
- PAOK Thessaloniki in 1976,
- Red Star Belgrade (1978 - 1982 and 1988 - 1989) and
- Fenerbahce (1982 - 1984 and 1986 - 1987).
He died on February 20, 2002.
