Michael Polatof
Michael Polatof (real name Michael Apostolatos) was born in 1948 to Russian-Italian parents. He studied theater production, stage and costume design in Rome, Italy.
His career in fashion began in 1975. In 1976 he opened his first of a series of successful clothing boutiques.
He died December 26, 2002 of cancer..
