  • June 17: The Greek Parliament controversially votes into law the Emergency Measures Act which allows the death penalty for those that "work against public order and the territorial integrity of the state"
  • June 27: The foreign ministers of the Great Powers decide in Paris to award the Dodecanese to Greece.

  • July 1: The first eleven special military courts are set up in Greece following the Emergency Measures Act of June 17.
