- November 2: The first, for Greece, open heart surgery procedure is successfully performed at Evangelismos Hospital in Athens
- November 15: A Cypriot patrol, under General Georgios Grivas, is shot at while removing roadblocks around Kofinou. A battle ensues that nearly becomes the cause of war between Greece and Turkey.
- November 18: The Greek government recalls Gen Georgios Grivas from Cyprus.
- November 20: Coach Marton Bukovi, who helped Olympiakos to their first two Alpha Ethniki championships, resigns after his team loses four games in succession.
- November 29: The Pipinelis - Caglayangil accord temporarily halts the Greco-Turkish tension over Cyprus. As part of the accord, Greece was obligated to withdraw the division sent by Georgios Papandreou in 1964.
