Agioi Deka

Agioi Deka (Greek Άγιοι Δέκα - Ten saints) is a town in the municipality of Gortyna, Heraklio prefecture, Crete, Greece.

The population of the town, according to the 2001 census was 902 inhabitants.

The name of the town is derived from ten Christian saints who martyred there in 250 AD. On the spot where they were beheaded, there stands a church which was built during the 12th century,
