Agios Dimitrios FC

Agios Dimitrios FC (Greek: Π.Α.Ο. Άγιος Δημήτριος), is a Greek football club based in Agios Dimitrios, Athens, Greece.

The club was founded in 1928 as "Aris" and its original colours were green and white. In 1951 another club was founded in Agios Dimitrios named "Iraklis". Aris and Iraklis merged in 1959 to form PAO Agios Dimitrios.

The team's colours are red and blue - like neighbouring Panionios - and their nickname is "Barca" as they share similar jerseys.

In 2002, Agios Dimitrios changed from an amateur association to a professional one {PAE).

The club competed in the Greek Beta Ethniki in the 2008 season, after having won its Gamma Ethniki southern league division in 2007.

In 2010, they fell into the Football D Division and are currently (2012) in the local Athens leagues.
