Christos Ardizoglou

Christos Ardizoglou is a former Greek football player.

Ardizoglou was born on March 25, 1953 in Jerusalem (Israel). He started his professional career in 1971 at Apollon Athens, where his uncle, Kostas Ardizoglou, had played football in the 1950s. His exceptional speed attracted the attention of AEK and in the summer of 1974 he made the short trip from Rizoupolis to Nea Philadelphia Stadium. In 1985 Ardizoglou returned to Apollon Athens to end his career the same season.

At AEK, Ardizoglou won championship honours in 1978 and 1979 and the Greek Cup in 1978 and 1983.

During his career, Ardizoglou was capped 43 times (scoring two goals) by the National Football Team of Greece and was part of the squad that competed in the finals of Euro 1980.
