Daniil Papadopoulos is a Greek former football player of the 1980s - 1990s era.

Papadopoulos was born on June 15, 1963 and started his career at Olympos Dentropotamos. He transferred to Iraklis Thessaloniki in 1981. He debuted in the Greek Alpha Ethniki in December of that same year against Kastoria FC. He ended his career, still at Iraklis, in May 1998. In the interim, he set a club record for appearances with 419, scoring 64 goals (second place on the all-time list behind Dimitris Gesios).

Papadopoulos was a versatile player who started out as a forward but also played on the left wing and in the centre of defence.

He was capped four times by the National Football Team of Greece.

After his playing days were over, Papadopoulos coached several teams including Kavala FC.

He is the father of Yiannis who played for Olympiakos, Aris and Veria.
