Dimitris Paridis

Dimitris Paridis was a Greek football player of the 1970s era.

Paridis was born on September 20, 1945 in Agios Andreas Kavala, to a family that hailed from Nicopolis in Pontus. He first started playing football for Keravnos Agios Andreas (Κεραυνός Αγίου Ανδρέα), a local Kavala team. In 1961, he debuted for AE Kavala which later merged with other teams in that city to form Kavala FC. He moved to PAOK after the 1968 season.

Considered by many one of the best wing attackers for Greek football, his best qualities were speed, sharp dribbling, nice shot and ...foxy smarts. He was beloved by PAOK fans.
