Dometius was Bishop of Byzantium between 272 and 284 AD.
Dometius was the brother of emperor Probus. He was born a pagan but converted to Christianity later in life. He travelled to Byzantium and served Bishop Titus. Upon the latter's death, he himself became Bishop of Byzantium.
