Erotokritos (Greek Ερωτόκριτος) is a romantic epic composed by Vicenzo Kornaros in early 17th century Crete. It consists of 10,052 fifteen-syllable rhymed verses.

It deals with the love of a princess for a commoner, the latter's exile when the princess' father finds out and the triumph of their love when all seemed lost. It is written in characteristic Cretan dialect and rhyme, similar to traditional mantinades.

Erotokritos and the Erophili of Georgios Hortatzis constitutes the classic examples of Greek renaissance literature.

Erotokritos still remains a popular classic work, largely due to the music accompanies it. A 1970s rendition by Nikos Xylouris and Mariza Koch was made that became quite popular.
