Ezequiel "Equi" González (born July 10, 1980 in Rosario) is an Argentine football playmaker who played for Panathinaikos between January 2004 and 2008. Known as Equi, he became a hero for Panathinaikos fans because of his leadership and technical abilities.

González started playing professionaly at home-based Rosario Central in 1997. His success in the club took him to Fiorentina though he only played as a reserve in the club struggling against bankruptcy. Early in 2002, El Equi returned to Argentina (Boca Juniors), only to rejoin his first club, Rosario Central, a year later. After half a season, Ezequiel transferred to Panathinaikos, were he became is one of the captains of the team, and helped the club to win the double (Championship and Cup) in 2004.

Equi González has great technique, creative passing and high influence. His first Champions League appearance (September 2004) was more than succesful, as he scored two goals against Norwegian champions Rosenborg.
