Fotis Polymeris

Fotis Polymeris was a Greek Elafro songwriter, composer and singer.

Polymeris was born in Patra on February 20, 1920. His family hailed from the island of Kefalonia and his real name was Palimeris. He recorded his first record in 1935. Over all, he recorded more than 200 songs, some of which have withstood the test of time and are popular to this day.

In 2004, he wrote his autobiography titled "Fotis Polymeris - a litany of memories".

Polymeris died on May 28, 2013 in Athens.
