Georgios Lilikas is the current Foregn Minister of Cyprus.

Lilikas was born in the village of Panagia, Paphos province, on June 1, 1960. He studied Political Science at the University of Lyon and obtained a doctorate in 1987.

Lilikas was first elected into the House of Representatives in 1996, under the banner of AKEL, in Lefkosia province. He was appointed Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism on March 1, 2003. On June 13, 2006, he replaced Georgios Iakovou as Foregn Minister.

Lilikas is married with one son.
