Giorgos Darivas was a striker (usually inside-right) for Olympiakos during their 1950s glory years.

Darivas was born on March 12, 1926 in Psyrri, Athens. After transferring from local club Niki Plaka, he debuted for Olympiakos on July 11, 1946 and played his final game on April 20, 1958. His nickname was "Lorenzi".

During his career, Darivas was capped 16 times by the National Football Team of Greece and scored 4 goals.

After his playing days were over, Darivas became a coach and coached Olympiakos in 1971, 1975 and 1976. He has served as President of the Olympiakos veteran players association.
