Giorgos Galitsios

Giorgos Galitsios (Greek Γιώργος Γκαλίτσιος) is a Greek football defender currently at Olympiakos.

Galitsios was born on July 6, 1986, in Larisa. His father is Yiannis Galitsios who played for AE Larisa in their glory years - the 1980s.

Like his father, Giorgos Galitsios started his professional football career at AE Larisa. In the summer of 2008, he was acquired by Olympiakos.

Galitsios spent the second half of the 2011 season on loan to Panionios.

On the national level, Galitsios has played for the Under-21 National Football Team of Greece.
