Born November 23, 1946. The last of the "great" players of Greek soccer, nicknamed Μεγαλέξανδρος (Alexander the Great) of Greek football. He was certainly one of the very few that possessed skillful soccer talent. A virtuoso of the ball, were he was established as a potent forward but as well as a player that could organize the whole game for a team.

He played for PAOK from 1964 until 1983. He played with the club 504 times in the Greek Championship division and he scored 134 goals.

On August 16, 1966 Giorgos Koudas makes his debut with Olympiakos. Sports general secretary Costas Aslanidis' initiative though to forbid the trades between big clubs will force Koudas to return to PAOK.

Giorgos Koudas remained with PAOK for the rest of his career, where he was the captain of the club when the team from Thessaloniki won the Greek Championship in 1976 and the three Greek Cups in 1972, 1974, and 1981.
