Jenny Karezi was a Greek stage and cinema actress of the latter part of the 20th Century.

Karezi was born Evgenia Karpouzi, on January 12, 1936 in Athens. She studied in the Drama School of the National Theatre. Upon graduation, in 1954, she was immediately thrust into starring roles in the theatre playing alongside actors such as Alexis Minotis and Katina Paxinou. In 1955, she made her debut in the cinema.

Karezi stayed in the National Theatre until 1959. The following year she created her own theatre group and played alongside Greek comics Lambros Konstantaras, Dinos Iliopoulos, Mimis Fotopoulos and Dionysis Papayiannopoulos.

As a film actress she starred in movies such as:

  • Red Lights (1963)
  • Lola (1964)
  • A mad, mad Family (1965)
  • Jenny, Jenny (1966)
  • A Knight for Vassoula (1968)
  • A Woman for the Resistance (1970)

Karezi was married to fellow actor, Kostas Kazakos. She died of cancer on July 27, 1992.
