Jenny Vanou

Jenny Vanou (Greek: Τζένη Βάνου) was a popular Greek Elafro singer of the 1960s and 1970s.

Vanou was born Evgenia Vrachnou on February 10, 1939 in Athens. She started recording in 1960 and made a great name for herself in Elafro music as the singing partner of Yiannis Voyiatzis.

Later (late 1970s), she turned to the laiko genre.

Vanou died of cancer on February 5, 2014, five days shy of her 75th birthday.
