Karavas (Cyprus)

Karavas is a municipality in Kyrenia province, Cyprus, situated 12km west of the city of Kyrenia.

Karavas has been under Turkish military occupation since 1974. Prior to the invasion, its population of roughly 2,250 inhabitants was 100% Greek.
