Kostas Kafasis was a Greek singer and actor.

Kafasis was born on August 13, 1940 in Itea, Karditsa prefecture, Thessaly. He moved to Athens and studied at the Drama School. He first appeared on stage and later on screen in such films as "Marijuana Stop" («Μαριχουάνα stop») and "My daughter - the Socialist" («Η κόρη μου η σοσιαλίστρια»). He also took part in TV serials.

In the 1970s, Kafasis launched a singing career with much success. Among his hit songs were «Γέλα κυρία μου» (Laugh at me my lady), «Σε παρακαλώ κατάλαβέ με» (Please understand me).

He died of cancer on October 13, 2010.
