Kourion is an important archaeological site in Lemesos province, Cyprus.

Although there is evidence of settlements going back to the Neolithic period, the first settlement was probably built by Mycenaean Greeks around 1400 BC. Kourion reached its high point under the Romans but went into decline during Byzantine times due to raids from Saracens. Eventually, the population moved inland and the city was abandoned. Excavations started in 1873 and have continued to the present.

Among the more impressive structures are the theatre which is fully restored, the baths, the aqueduct, a 5th Century Basilica and several rooms with impressive mosaics.
