Louka was born in [[Arnadi]], [[Ammochostos province]], [[Cyprus]], on [[August 15]], [[1945]]. He competed in the Munich Olympiad ([[1972]]) finishing in 25th place over all.

Louka broke the Greek record for the [[shot put]] 7 times, the last time being on [[April 9]], [[1975]] - an effort of 19.84m.

Among his accomplishments were 3 silver and 3 bronze medals in the Balkan Games between [[1973]] and [[1982]].
