Makrakomi is a town in the municipality of the same name in Phthiotis prefecture, Central Greece.

Its population in 2001 was 2,226 inhabitants, while that of the entire municipality 7,132.

On August 2, 2021, the local meteorological station of the National Observatory of Athens, recorded a temperature of 46.3 degrees Celsius (115.3 degrees Fahrenheit) - the highest temperature ever recorded by the NOA.
