Ministry for National Defence (Greece)

The Minister for National Defence of Greece is a civilian government minister responsible for the running of the Ministry of National Defence (Greek Υπουργείο Εθνικής Άμυνας) which manages the Military of Greece. Its mission is to preserve the independence and territorial integrity of Greece, protect Greek citizens from foreign threat and support Greek national interests.

The current minister is Dimitris Avramopoulos.
