Missas Pantazopoulos

Missas (Michalis) Pantazopoulos (1924 - April 25, 2006) was a Greek basketball player and coach.

Pantazopoulos played for Panellinios and Panathinaikos. With Panathinaikos, as a player/coach, he won 3 Greek championships (1946, 1947, 1950) and 2 local Athens-Piraeus championships (1947, 1950). As a coach, he won the Greek championship in 1951 for Panathinaikos.

He also coached AEK and won 5 Greek championships (1958, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966).

Pantazopoulos was capped 9 times by the National Basketball Team of Greece scoring 18 points and was a member of the Eurobasket 1949 team that won bronze in Egypt. He coached the National Basketball Team at various times between 1956 and 1969.
