Nikolaos Botasis was a Greek naval commander and politician.

Botasis was born on the island of Spetses in 1792 to the influential Botasis family of that seafaring island. He took part in several naval operations of the Greek War of Independence (1821 - 1829).

After independence was achieved, Botasis became involved in politics as one of the leaders of Ioannis Kolettis' French Party.

He died in Athens in 1842.
