Nikos Kourtidis is a Greek weightlifter.

Kourtidis was born on April 1, 1986, in the republic of Georgia then a part of the USSR. At a young age, he moved with his family to Kavala, Macedonia, Greece. He is an athlete of Herakles Kavala.

Kourtidis won several medals in youth competitions. His first gold medal in senior competition came in 2005 in the Mediterranean Games of Almeria, Spain in the 94kg category. He won bronze in the European Championships of Poland, after a delay of four months, when one of the original top three finishers was found to have been guilty of doping offenses.

In the Olympic Games of 2008, Kourtidis won 9th place. The following year (June 30, 2009) in the Mediterranean Games of Pescara, Italy, he won two gold medals but was found to have been guilty of doping offenses.
