Milas was the coach of AEK when, on April 4, 1968, they lifted the European Cupwinners' Cup - the first Greek club to do so.

Between the years 1949 and 1952, he participated in 8 matches of the National Basketball Team of Greece, scoring 5 points and was a member of the Eurobasket 1949 team that won bronze in Egypt.
