Panagiotis Kyprianidis was a Greek football midfielder in the 1950s - 1960s.
Kyprianidis started his career at Apollon Kalamaria but his fine play soon earned him a transfer to Olympiakos for the record-breaking - at that time - sum of 1 million drachmas.
Despite a decent start, Kyprianidis did not manage to fit in at Olympiakos and his transfer was considered by fans of the Piraeus club as a big waste of money.
