Pefkios Georgiadis was Cypriot Minister for Education and Culture from March 1, 2003 until his sudden death on January 17, 2007.

Georgiadis was born in Lefkosia in 1935. He graduated from the Pancyprian Gymnasium and studied architecture at Sheffield, England. He returned to Cyprus in 1959 and practiced the occupation of architect in the public sector until 1972, when he developed his own private firm.

Georgiadis was appointed Minister for Education and Culture, by President Tassos Papadopoulos, on March 1, 2003. He served in that capacity until his sudden death on January 17, 2007 due to a heart attack.
