Sophocles Sophocleous is the present Minister for Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus.

Sophocleous was born in Lefkara in 1962. He studied Law at the University of Thessaloniki and has served as Mayor of Lefkara since 1992.

On June 13, 2006, he was appointed Minister for Justice and Public Order.

Sophocleous is married with two children.
