The Ukraine Expedition or Crimean Expedition was undertaken by the Greek government under Eleftherios Venizelos in 1919 as part of an Allied effort, after World War I, to stem the tide of the October Revolution in Russia.

In January, 1919, two Greek divisions from the A Army Corps, under Major General Konstantinos Nider, were dispatched to Crimea where they joined French, Polish, Romanian forces as well as anti-communist "White" Russians.

The Bolshevik government replied by dispatching three army corps which had no trouble defeating the Allied forces who found themselves in full retreat. The Greek contingent retreated to Romania and were subsequently dispatched to Smyrna to join the occupation forces of Asia Minor.
