Vaios Karagiannis was a Greek football defender of the 1990s - 2000s era.

Karagiannis was born on June 25, 1968. He played for Anagennisis Karditsa before joining AEK in 1990. He played for AEK until the 2002 season and was a member of the team that won consecutive championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994.

After AEK, Karagiannis played another four seasons for Poseidon Piraeus (2003) and Anagennisis Karditsa (2004-2006.

During his playing career, Karagiannis was capped 8 times by the National Football Team of Greece and was a member of the 1994 WC squad that competed in the USA.
