Valerios Leonidis is a former Greek weightlifter.

Leonidis was born in Eseduki, Russia, on February 14, 1966. He came to Greece in 1991 joining athletic club VAO as a weightlifter in the 69kg class.

Leonidis was the main competitor of Turkish legend, Naim Suleymanoglu, throughout his career. Among his many distinctions, Leonidis won a silver medal in the 1996 Olympics of Atlanta and gold in the European weightlifting championships that same year.
