Nestoras Kommatos

Nestoras Kommatos is a 2.03m Greek basketball player who currently plays for Lokomotiv Rostov. He was born in Larisa, Thessaly, Greece to a Greek father and an African mother from Guinea. Kommatos plays as a forward and is a great scorer.

Kommatos started his career with Gymnastikos Larisa. In 2000 he transferred to Makedonikos BC, then to PAOK for a year and then on to Aris. In 2003-04, he was the top scorer of the Greek championship A1 with 21 points per game.

In 2005 Kommatos moved to the European basketball giants Maccabi Tel Aviv and won with them the Euroleague championship. Afterwards, he played with Fortitudo Bologna in Italy and then with CB Sevilla in Spain. In 2006 he played for A.E.K. and in 2007 he moved to Russia and joined Lokomotiv Rostov.
