Vangelis "Johnny" Paraprastanitis (Greek Παραπραστανίτης) was a Greek football defender of the 1970s - 1980s era.
Paraprastanitis was born on February 20, 1954, in Mouzaki, Karditsa prefecture, Thessaly. He started his football career at Trikala FC in 1974 - as an attacker - transferring to AEK in 1980.
In 1984, Paraprastanitis was acquired by Aegaleo FC, playing for "City" until 1992 when he quit football.
During his playing days, Paraprastanitis was capped once by the National Football Team of Greece. He is currently a coach and has been at the helm of Trikala FC and Asclepius Trikala, among others.
