The team placed 2nd in the [[A1 Ethniki]] in [[1985]].
The team won 1st place in the [[A2 Ethniki]], in [[1992]].

Larisa has in the past featured former NBA players like [[James Donaldson (basketball)|James Donaldson]], [[Brent Scott]], [[Sedale Threatt]], [[Chris Garner (basketball)|Chris Garner]], [[Richard Dumas]], and [[Vasilis Spanoulis]] who began his professional Greek basketball career with the team and played with them from [[1999]] to [[2001]]. Vasilis' older brother, also a star basketball player in Greece, [[Dimitris Spanoulis]], played for the team from [[2001]] to [[2003]] and also during the 2005-[[2006]] season. [[Jeremiah Massey]] has also played with Larisa.
