Taxidis was born on [[May 1]], [[1937]]. He played for [[Megas Alexandros Katerini]] in their lone season in the [[Alpha Ethniki]] ([[1960 Football Championship|1960-61]]). After his club merged with Olympus [[Katerini]], in [[1961]], to form [[Pierikos FC|Pierikos]], Taxidis played for [[Pierikos FC|Pierikos]] until [[1964]].
