In [[1993]], he returned to [[PAOK FC|PAOK]] for one season before ending his career at [[Lamia FC]].

During his career, Karasavvidis was capped five times by the [[National Football Team]] of Greece. He was also a member of the Under-21 squad that won second place in Europe in [[1988]]. In fact, he scored four goals againt Holland in the semi-final 5-0 victory that qualified Greece for the final game.

Aris Karasavvidis had a brother - [[Theofilos Karasavvidis|Theofilos]] who was also a football player.
