Arvanitochori (literally &amp;quot;Albanian village&amp;quot;) is said to derive its name from Albanians that settled in Kassos in the 16th Century. Other sources claim that the name came about from one of its inhabitants - a sea captain - who dressed in traditional Albanian outfits.&lt;br /&gt;
