Mentis Bostantzoglou, best known as 'Bost', was a cartoonist, satirist and playwright. He was born in [[Constantinople]] in [1918]].

His peculiar style was characterized by intentional misspellings and he was best known for satirizing the confusion in grammar and spelling caused by formal language among ordinary people, with whom he sympathized.

He died [[December 13]], [[1995]] of a heart attack at the age of 77.

 O Μέντης Μποσταντζόγλου, γνωστός ως Μποστ, γεννήθηκε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη το 1918. Παρακολούθησε για ένα εξάμηνο μαθήματα στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών. Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του εικονογραφώντας παιδικά βιβλία και περιοδικά. Αργότερα ασχολήθηκε με την πολιτική γελοιογραφία και το χρονογράφημα. Συνάμα αφιερώθηκε στη ζωγραφική και το θέατρο. Το 1966 εγκαινίασε κατάστημα με την επωνυμία "Λαϊκάς Εικόνας", διακοσμώντας πάνω από 27.000 αντικείμενα δώρων με έναν εντελώς δικό του πρωτότυπο τρόπο, γράφοντας, επιπλέον, ανορθόγραφα. Έγραψε πάνω από 10 θεατρικά έργα, πολλά βιβλία και πραγματοποίησε 16 ατομικές εκθέσεις. Ο Μποστ κατέχει ιδιαίτερη θέση στην καρδιά και τη μνήμη των ανθρώπων της μεταπολεμικής γενιάς.
