'''Dimitris "Mimis" Spentzopoulos''' is a [[Greeks|Greek]] former [[football (soccer)|football]] striker of the [[1970s]] era.

Spentzopoulos was born in [[Kalamata]] on [[March 8]], [[1950]]. He started his [[football (soccer)|football]] career with Apollon Kalamata which in [[1967]] merged with other local clubs to for [[Kalamata FC]].

In [[1973]], Spentzopoulos transferred to [[Panachaiki FC|Panachaiki]]. He played for the [[Patra]] club until [[1984]] when he continued his career - till age 38 - in lower divisions with clubs such as Agrinio FC and Aris Patra.

Over all, Spentzopoulos made 271 [[Alpha Ethniki]] appearances scoring 62 goals - 25 of them with headers.

After his playing days were over, he coached a number of local football clubs.
