He also held the Greek record for the [[1500m]] which he broke twice, the last time achieved in Sofia, Bulgaria, on [[September 20]], [[1958]], with 3:44.7.

Among his accomplishments were two bronze medals in the Mediterranean Games of [[1955]] and [[1959]].
