'''Ganochora''' is a community in [[Eastern Thrace]] made up of the towns of Ganos and Chora.

It is situated on the SW coast of E. Thrace and, prior to the [[Asia Minor Disaster]] of [[1922]], had a large Greek population. In [[1919]], according to the [[Treaty of Sevres]], it became part of Greece and its inhabitants voted in the [[1920]] elections.

After the exchange of populations, following the [[Treaty of Lausanne]], refugees from Ganochora established the town of [[Ganochora (Pieria)|Ganochora]] in [[Pieria prfecture]], [[Macedonia]], [[Greece]].
