Georgiadis was born on [[May 21]], [[1948]]. He was an athlete of [[Panathinaikos Athletic Club]].

He broke the Greek record for the [[hammer throw]] on [[October 15]], [[1971]] with 68.76m, when he won the gold medal in the Mediterranean Games of [[Smyrna]].

Among his other accomplishments was a bronze medal in the Balkan Games of [[1976]].
