'''Gerasimus II''' ([[Greek language|Greek]] Γεράσιμος Β') was a clergyman of the [[17th century]] who served as [[Patriarch of Constantinople]].

Gerasimus, whose surname in the world was Kakavelas, was born on the island of [[Chios]] to a [[Crete|Cretan]] family. He served as [[Bishop]] of Proilavo in Bulgaria from [[1655]] till [[1658]] when he transferred to the See of Tornovo. On [[August 14]], [[1673]] he succeeded [[Dionysius IV of Constantinople|Dionysius IV]] as [[Patriarch of Constantinople]]. He held that position until December [[1674]].

In [[1676]], Gerasimus tried to get elected Patriarch once more but failed. He left, first for [[Andros]], then for [[Naxos]].

He died on Naxos on [[February 6]], [[1689]].
